But the fruit belonging to the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, objectivity of mind, self-control, against these there is no quality of law, Galatians 5:22, 23
The fruit of the Spirit is one fruit that is bound together in love. When using one part of the fruit all other parts are available and often supporting each other, especially love.
Love – Seeking the best for the one loved.
Joy – Being content in any situation
Peace – An unruffled mind
Long-suffering – a long holding out of one’s anger against unreasonable people
Kindness – Putting others at ease
Goodness – Doing that which is beneficial
Faith – Taking God at His Word
Objectivity of Mind – Keeping the mind focused on the goal
Self-control – Managing one’s own appetites
